Each contestant will choose five (5) golfers for their team plus one (1) alternate. Your alternate will only be utilized if one of your five (5) withdraws or is disqualified, or as a tiebreaker. Your choices will be broken down into tiers based on the official world golf rankings as of Monday, April 6, 2015 (no entries allowed until after the latest rankings are released on Monday). Each contestant will choose one (1) golfer from the #1-10 rankings, two (2) from the #11-50 rankings, and two (2) from #51-remaining field. Your alternate must come from the #51+ rankings. Selections are due by Wednesday, April 8 at 12:00.
Scoring will be based on the cumulative score for your five (5) golfers. Golfers who missed the cut will remain at the score they finished with on Friday.
Scoring example:
Bobby Jones (-10)
Jack Nicklaus (-5)
Arnold Palmer (-5)
Gary Player (Even)
Jean Van de Velde (+5 missed cut) = (+5)
Total Score = (-15)
In the event of a tie after each round or for the championship after Sunday, the tiebreaker will be the alternate's score.
